KBTX | Sex Bracelets This is the so-called story that prompted me to research sex bracelets. I think this is one of those media driven stories that have no real basis in fact. KBTX is the CBS affiliate that serves the Texas A & M area, and the story is about Huntsville, Texas. A lot of bull with no validity, no basis but rumor. An Example of bad Journalism.

And What Name Will Phinnaeus Have for Mommy? (washingtonpost.com)
Celebrity breeds its own kind of weird. Julia Roberts' naming her twins sparked this and other articles. To me, the news story is not in the naming, but how all these celebs manage to have twins - I guess money buys most anything, including having your kids all at once.

ABC13.com: KLOL fans rock the web to get station backCLear Channel is at it again. The mega radio station corporation once again uses its mindless corporate muscles to change the format of a icon of Rock. The company has changed the station to a bilingual latino station despite its fanatical album rock base. 34 years of loyalty has been paid off with a pile of crap. The mix of the new format is Spanish, Spanish rap, some kind of reggae, and Spanish Pop. I refuse to listen to a station that caters only to hispanics. I speak Spanish, but I am a Texan living in the USA. Give me a fricken break! I listened for a while, but I never heard any bilingual talk. The main thing that pisses me off is that KLOL was the only Houston station I receive on my car radio so far out in the boonies. Mega Station??? Mega SUCKS.

bangedup.com - U.S. VOTE BY I.Q. CHART
I don't know whether this is accurate, but sounds good. The data-gathering info is at the bottom of the chart. Like it says, the info may not be factual.

Bloomberg.com:
U.S. - House Changes Rules to Protect Delay

The Republicans promised higher ethical standards when they took over in 1994. It seems as they only meant to hold democrats to a higher standard. Read the story and see what I mean.

The New York Times > Education > Stickers Put in Evolution Text Are the Subject of a Federal Trial

Newsday.com - AP Washington

Alan Keyes bitches - Blames Media!

Alan Keyes blames everyone but himself for his losing his political race against Obama, the democratic candidate. Let us count the ways he might be an idiot - 1. He moves to Illinois on short notice to run against a well-qualified man; 2. He spouts hatred at every turn; 3. He is a media hog who loves publicity for being contrary; 4. He is a talk-show host on hate radio; and 5. He is an idiot who is against most every progressive idea to come about in the last 150 years.
